1. Refill instead of rebuying
One 5L container can replace many single-use bottles. Refill your spray bottles, soap dispensers and pump bottles from bulk.
2. Use reusable cloths
Microfibre and workhorse cloths can be washed and reused hundreds of times, replacing piles of paper towel.
3. Dose correctly
Overdosing doesn't just waste money. Extra chemicals end up in the water system. Measure every time.
4. Save water
- Use a bucket instead of a running hose.
- Try waterless car wash products.
- Use microfibre mops that need less water.
5. Choose concentrates
Concentrated products mean less packaging, less transport and fewer containers to dispose of.
6. Recycle properly
Rinse empty containers and recycle them where facilities exist. Use clear bags for recycling so it can be sorted easily.
7. Look after your equipment
Well-maintained mops, buckets and machines last longer, so less ends up in landfill.
